Singer Kelly Rowland’s “beautiful relationship” with Beyoncé Knowles and Michelle Williams runs more deeply than their band Destiny’s Child.
The women experienced worldwide success with all the girl group, scoring huge hits including Independent Women, Bootylicious and Lose My Breath, but Kelly believes they achieved a great deal because of the strong friendship that underlined the music activity. Despite disbanding in 2006, women remain close and also have never felt any rivalry of their subsequent solo projects, unlike all kinds of other girl bands which have gone before them.
“You understand what, it’s really how you interact with the other and the bond that individuals have, and that’s what’s most crucial to us,” Kelly told Fox News. “We’ve had the capacity to carry that within our lives. You understand what I mean? Michelle was at that time when my son was developed. B (Beyoncé) was in front of them when my son was born plus the same the other way round, so it’s just a real beautiful relationship that any of us have, and it’s deeper than Destiny’s Child.”
The 34 yr old found fame using the group when she would be a teenager although many current young pop stars have struggled with when i was in the media spotlight, Kelly has always had time to remain grounded. Her friendship back with her band mates helped manage this step, as did the support with out nonsense attitude of her nearest and dearest.
“I have a very great circle of an individual around me, I must say, who don’t play, in complete honesty,” she added. “My family, my buddies and I’m just really grateful for the children all. They completely ensure that it stays 100 by himself. It’s all truth, all truth and I love that about them. They’re not ‘yes’ people.”
Now a wife and mother to 11 month old son Titan, Kelly’s priorities have changed although she still enjoys making music, she warned Destiny’s Child fans a reunion isn’t for the cards in the near future.
“We haven’t mentioned it,” she said. “We haven’t mentioned it in any respect, and it’s just an issue that hasn’t show up in conversation for being completely honest.”
