Celine Dion could glance at the love of her late husband Rene Angelil at the tribute event kept in his honour on Wednesday night (03Feb16).
The 47-year-old singer struggled to manipulate her emotions as she loved the stage at , Las Vegas, where she had been after a residency up to Rene’s death in January (16).
Celine didn’t perform to the occasion, but used the chance address the bunch and thank everyone for that tributes that was paid to Rene through the evening.
“This is my house away from home,” Celine said. “At duration I’m likely to feel extremely comfortable being home and right this moment I’m not sure how comfortable I feel.
“I feel his passion in this room. I feel his strength and the warmth being reflected to all of you. Rene always surrounded me together with the best people that believed in us and also worked so faithfully on our behalf.”
Celine was joined by Rene’s children from previous marriages with the exceptional brother on the memorial event. Many of her late husband’s record companies friends and work associates, including Caesars Palace executives, recalled their memories with the music manager.
It was at the end of her speech that Celine became overcome with emotions, and permit the tears flow as she concluded: “On behalf of my children, many thanks again internet marketing here around this evening because of this beautiful tribute to mon amour. Rene I love you, a lot, merci, night.”

Rene lost his fight with cancer in January (16) and the official memorial was stuck his native Montreal, in the church where he wed the My Heart Will Go On singer in 1994 and they also baptised their first son, Rene-Charles. Thousands of fans and mourners flocked towards the Notre-Dame Basilica to repay their last respects to your musician and manager.
His funeral was held for the same church the next day (22Jan16).
