Singer Demi Lovato is delighted Amy Schumer has challenged “society’s twisted views” of perfection with your ex naked Pirelli calendar picture.
The Trainwreck actress is just about the famous faces featured within the 2016 edition on the iconic year planner, along with her monochrome shot, she posed using a stool, wearing merely a pair of knickers and high heels, while holding coffee.
The image, shot by revered photographer Annie Leibovitz, evoked an enormous reaction from your public, and high praise from Schumer’s peers, including 23-year-old Demi.
The singer, that has battled body image issues her life, believes Amy truly represents the content she is looking for across inside the lyrics to her songs on hit new album Confident.
“This is an ideal example of a #CONFIDENT woman going for a giant s**t on society’s twisted views with the items perfection is,” she wrote on Instagram on Tuesday (01Dec15) alongside the style of Schumer baring all. “I wrote Confident with women like her (men too) and examples in this way in mind.
“The attitude captured on this photo is brave, sexy and inspiring but a majority of importantly REAL!!!! F**k yeah @amyschumer… Women across the world thank you for this. Especially me.”
Demi spent time in rehab this season and 2012, battling an eating disorder as well as other body-image related problems, but she bounced time for become a mental health campaigner and confident women’s rights activist.
The Confident sheet music singer even posed nude herself in a photoshoot with Vanity Fair in October (15), and after that insisted the revealing shots of her shouldn’t be retouched.
“The most difficult part of that photoshoot in my opinion was going inside buff without Photoshop,” she told Access Hollywood.
“There were times where I was going through the pictures together with the photographer and hubby would say, ‘Oh, we might fix that,’ and I was like, ‘No, we not able to. We cannot use Photoshop with this shoot’.
“Of course it’s awkward, however, if I begin to think about the content, when I would commence to think about the amount of people this could inspire, I got convenient doing it.”
