Following Miley Cyrus‘ unannounced performance for the MTV Video Music Awards along with the surprise launch of her new album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, the VMA host dropped the brand new video for that LP’s opening cut “Dooo It!” The video takes the Dead Petz album cover – featuring the singer smearing paint and glitter over her face – and expands onto it for four-and-half messy minutes, with Cyrus spreading from purple goo and dairy food to sparkled lipstick and frozen treats sprinkles over her face.

Keeping using the song’s opening lyrics – “Yeah, I smoke pot / Yeah, I love peace / But I don’t supply a fuck / I ain’t no hippie” – Cyrus also blows copious numbers of weed smoke inside the camera lens over the “Dooo It!” clip. (The video even presents you with with Cyrus saying she needs marijuana.)

Dooo It

Dead Petz is usually a collaboration between Cyrus and also the Flaming Lips, with producers Mike Will Made It and Oren Yoel contributing a small number of tracks. Cyrus and Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne first bonded following a death of Cyrus’ dog Floyd in April 2014. “Floyd and I always followed the Flaming Lips,” Cyrus told Rolling Stone in May 2014. “So now when I focus on that music, I totally glance at the presence of him still being there, you realize?”

Cyrus added, “I’ve been playing [the Flaming Lips] to the past ninety days, to your exclusion of most other music – literally, I’ve erased anything else on my phone. My whole world is involved with this collaboration and magical friendship.” Coyne also told Rolling Stone, “Our shows are incredibly childlike, like kids on acid, and hers are way too. We’re much alike in believing art is supposed to be fun. She’s simply a freak. I love her to death.”
