Father John Misty will be in Lana Del Rey’s new video.
The singer confirmed the cameo today (January 25) together with the video anticipated to arrive soon. In addition to Father John Misty, real name Josh Tillman, the ‘Freak’ video will likely feature a few of the cast from her ‘Music To Watch Boys To’ video.
Father John Misty toured with Del Rey in 2014, supporting her with a number of US tour dates. ‘Freak’ could be the latest single from Del Rey’s 2015 album ‘Honeymoon‘. However, recent months have experienced her make news for the series of incidents involving obsessive fans in addition to their attempts to get all-around her.
Earlier this month (January) a person was sentenced to almost three months in prison after getting into her home in 2015. Zachary Self faces 84 days in jail after pleading no contest to stalking. Self was discovered by construction workers in Del Rey’s Malibu home in November 2015.

That burglary occurred in Kansas so when police looked Self up with all the name for the citation, they discovered pictures he previously posted on social media marketing of himself about the balcony with the pop star’s home.
Self’s prison sentence will be the latest in the list of troubling encounters Del Rey has already established to endure with fans although in the past. Last week she got such a restraining order against two Russian fans she claims had threatened her and screamed at her in public areas.
Del Rey moved house to prevent the fans but that her home was soon discovered and also the women “resumed sleeping outside her house and screaming her name in the heart of the night.” She subsequently hired a full-time bodyguard for protection.
