Musician Selena Gomez is determined to receive an award for my child chart comeback on the 2015 Billboard Women in Music Awards.

The Come and Get It singer stepped outside the limelight a year ago (14) and recently made her music comeback together with her new solo album Revival, which debuted with the top of the Billboard 200 album charts this month (15).

Her first single Good For You seemed to be her highest charting single within the U.S. currently, and she is scheduled to be honoured on her behalf success together with the Chart Topper prize in the ceremony.

Awards show boss Janice Min says, “In the previous couple of months, Selena has broken to the scene as a possible adult, and are avalable into her own being an artist together with the success of Revival… We want to highlight this moment for a lady who has turn into a role model for many people, a feminist, a completely independent voice whose new album truly showcases her being a mature artist.”

Lady Gaga is placed to receive the 2015 Woman of the Year prize in the New York ceremony on 11 December (15).

Selena previously revealed she took a hiatus after she had to endure autoimmune disease lupus.

“I was identified as having lupus, and I’ve been through chemotherapy,” she said. “That’s what my break really was about. I could’ve stood a stroke. I wanted badly to say, ‘You guys have no clue. I’m in chemotherapy. You’re a**holes.’ I locked myself away until I was confident and comfy again.”

Revival is Selena’s second solo album and follows debut Stars Dance, which she released in 2013.
