Simon Cowell is reportedly “desperate” for taking charge of the Spice Girls comeback album.

The girl band will celebrate two decades since the discharge of their debut single Wannabe later in 2010, and rumours are actually rife which the group are intending a reunion with the occasion.

Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, stepped in being a judge on U.K. talent show The X Factor a week ago (ends19Jun16) to protect for Nicole Scherzinger, and it is said to have already been bombarded by Cowell, who said not signing the group may be the “biggest mistake” of his life.

The music mogul is reportedly determined to land the girls’ reported comeback album, and as outlined by editors at The Sun, even designed a “formal offer” to Mel B.

“Simon is wanting to make a new Spice Girls album. He doesn’t wish to miss out following first time around,” a resource told Britain’s The Sun newspaper.

“He spent the auditions the other day quizzing Mel around the band and said he’d do ‘something mega’ when they signed with him. He kept asking when they were going to be producing songs and said if that’s the case, he wishes to do it together.”

According on the publication, Simon told Mel that this girls must talk to him first before choosing any other record labels. But Mel reportedly kept her cards near to her chest. Check Lukas Graham 7 Years piano sheet music here.

“He even went where warning Mel that they’d better not speak to any other labels before finding him,” the origin added. “Mel deliberately kept coy and told him they ‘hadn’t finalised everything’, but he wouldn’t get out alone.”

Mel previously revealed that this Spice Girls once staged an impromptu audition for Simon after they were trying to find signed. As they hadn’t scheduled a conference they simply resorted to ambushing him that has a spontaneous performance in a very parking lot.

Mel told U.S. chat show host Jimmy Fallon recently: “He was taken from work, so we kind of hijacked the vehicle park that she was looking for his car away from and just sung for him. And we were like, ‘Look, we’re destined to be famous 1 day. Can you sign us?’ and that he went, ‘No, it’s actually not gonna work.'”
