Taylor Swift has performed her biggest role thus far – being the maid of honour at her best friend’s wedding on Saturday.

Despite winning Album with the Year for 1989 for the Grammy Awards on Monday (15Feb16), Taylor swapped the glitz and glamour from the red carpet for childhood friend Britany Maack’s wedding day.

Britany wed sweetheart Benjamin LaManna within the town of Reading, Pennsylvania, with all the nuptials taking place inside beautifully decorated garden of your picturesque white property.

The bride and her Shake it Off hitmaker maid of honour wore dresses by celebrity designer Reem Acra, with Britany inside a hand-embroidered short-sleeved silk taffeta gown with matching cathedral veil. Taylor wore a blush pink gown using a beaded bodice and cap sleeves, even though the other bridesmaids were in strappy beaded pink gowns.

“I’ve never been a maid of honour before. This is my very first time that, and it’s really, vital to me because my best friend, who I’ve known since I came to be. And she’s marrying someone I’ve known since I was four,” the singer told People.com last May (15).

Taylor posted a sweet tribute to your happy couple on Instagram.com inside early hours of Sunday (21Feb16), captioning a photo with the wedding party: “I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten. Now they’re married and I’m the happiest maid of honour ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!”

Taylor apparently went solo with the wedding, as her Scottish DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris could hardly attend.
