Zayn Malik was around the Capital London Breakfast Show with Dave Berry tomorrow. He discussed feuding with former bandmate Louis Tomlinson, not beening invited to check out baby Freddie, Justin Bieber collaboration and his awesome new tattoo.
On feuding with Louis Tomlinson and favouriting the photo of his newborn on Twitter
DB: You favourited (on Twitter) the image of Louis with his fantastic baby Freddie. I tried to do this with a friend recently and apparently I’ve had reached make even more of an effort, and go round there using a present for the child. Are you intending on making much more of an effort or do you want to just leave it which has a (Twitter) favourite?
ZM: We’ll find out if I get an invite. Obviously I wish him the best of luck. His kid is cute as f**k so obviously I favourited it. We’re not talking on friend terms obviously, so that’s in terms of I can go, by favouriting his picture.
On living life being a 22 year old…
DB: You were intending on living the life span of a normal 22-year-old. I was wondering from your personal perspective how you believed that went for an adventure?
ZM: It worked out for about 2 weeks and I got bored than it. I don’t think I could ever get back to being completely normal. I guess that’s something I accepted, that it is as normal because it gets personally. I just want to generate music that I trust and music that I mean.
On collaborating with Justin Bieber…
DB: What do you think about any potential [collaborations] with Justin Bieber in front of launching [your] solo career.
ZM: It’s not something I’d refuse to. I might contemplate it at some point, I’m certainly not trying to do this on this record, it is just not something I’m wanting to sway towards. I’m just attempting to put my sounds in existence and let people see that. I don’t want to start featuring on everyone else’s tracks.

DB: What’s your latest tattoo?
ZM: I just got a tattoo on my small leg and my arm, I did them both from the same session. I got a tattoo with the album: the particular album, and something on my small leg, it’s type of weird, its an outline of any dude smoking that’s pretty mega.
DB: What does the tattoo say, usually the one of name from the album.
ZM: You’ll must wait for that particular.
