Zayn Malik’s debut solo single Pillowtalk has become released available online.

The former One Direction star tweeted the link to the download plus the accompanying video after that it was played on some US stereo.

It appears to be mark a departure in the clean label of pop manufactured by his former band, while using song featuring several expletives.

The music video sees a blond Malik, 23, kissing model Gigi Hadid.

Some of his fans on Twitter reacted with delight.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton tweeted: “I’m in to the Zayn song!!”

Em Hariss, from Oregon inside the US, tweeted: “To will, I have never heard just zaynmalik ‘s voice before. This was an exceptionally pleasant surprise.”

Singer Brandon Evans said: “I actually appreciate PillowTalk. It’s what exactly I expected from Zayn.”

The launch of his solo career follows his sudden departure from One Direction early a year ago.

Ahead from the single’s release, Malik revealed he wouldn’t want to be within the boy band from very at the beginning.

Malik spent four years with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne within the band that has been put together on ITV’s The X Factor.

But he told DJ Zane Lowe: “I think I sort of always wanted to go.

“I just gave it a try because it had been there back then. I think I type of always wanted to go. From the novice, I never really wanted for being there from the band.”

Malik’s first album is born out in March.

When Malik left One Direction in March 2015, he was quoted saying he wanted being “a normal 22-year-old that can relax and possess some private time out from the spotlight.”

But he admitted that they was quickly “bored” because of the idea while he burst back in the limelight with Pillowtalk.

Malik told Dave Berry around the Capital Breakfast reveal that being normal “worked out for approximately two weeks and I got tired of it”.

He continued: “I don’t even think I could ever get back to being completely normal, I guess that’s something I accepted – this is as normal as it could get for me personally. I’m just working to make music I believe in and I symbolize.”

Asked regarding how he coped with no “support networks” from the band with the exceptional former fiancee Perrie Edwards when he quit, Malik replied: “I did not really think through the method, I really didn’t have an idea, I just made it happen. But it’s exercised all right, I’m inside a good place.”

Malik also revealed he was no longer on talking terms with ex-bandmate Louis Tomlinson, who became a father in my ballet shoes earlier this week.

Fans were quick to get noticable that Malik had liked a retweet with the image Tomlinson shared of him holding baby Freddie, which he stated was the nod nod he could offer his former friend.

“Obviously I wish him the best of luck and everything and his awesome kid’s cute as f*** so I favourited it and everything. We’re not talking on friend terms so that’s where I can use favouriting his pic,” he was quoted saying.

Malik has stayed tight-lipped about the title of his new album, but he did reveal that the name is freshly tattooed on his arm.
