Carly Rae Jepsen has released another synth-heavy, Eighties-inspired love song off her upcoming LP Emotion. This time, oahu is the heart-wrenching, lovesick track “Your Type.”

“I i would love you to miss me when I’m not surrounding you,” Jepsen sings about the track regarding the desire to be in excess of friends with your ex romantic interest. The electro-pop track has less urgency than her previously released songs, including “Run Away With Me” and “Making the Most in the Night.”

Jepsen launched her new album together with the March single, “I Really Like You.” The shimmering, catchy track was along with a silly video featuring Tom Hanks lip-syncing the one and a joyful cameo from Justin Bieber.

Her next video for single “Run Away With Me” would have been a more intimate, DIY clip. Directed by David Kalani Larkins, the recording followed Jepsen through adventures in Tokyo, Paris and New York as she sang the tune.
