Paul McCartney performed his recent collaborative track with Rihanna and Kanye West, ‘FourFiveSeconds‘, as they headlined Lollapalooza festival in Chicago on Friday night (July 31).

The former Beatle wrote and recorded the song with West and Rihanna, releasing the one in January. McCartney later performed the track as of this year’s Grammy Awards.


Now, McCartney has delivered a solo rendition from the song. Watch footage of the performance below.

McCartney also performed The Beatles’ ‘Get Back’ with Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard at Lollapalooza.

McCartney recently described himself as feeling “lucky” and “flattered” for being working with Kanye West.

“It’s good for connecting with different artists,” he was quoted saying. “The secret’s I keep myself very accessible to suggestions – I still seem like I’m about 30…. I’m lucky that somebody like Kanye would go, ‘Yes I would like to help Paul McCartney’. I was quite flattered.”

McCartney previously compared collaborating with West to dealing with Lennon. He told The Sun: “When I wrote with John, however sit down using a guitar… We’d ping-pong till we’d a song. [Working with West] was like this.”
