Considering the present love/hate relationship between Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora we could only assume the song comes from the Bon Jovi archives.

‘Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning’ will feature about the upcoming Bon Jovi album ‘Burning Bridges’. ‘Burning Bridges’ may be the 13th studio album for Bon Jovi. ‘Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning’ may be the only track using a Sambora credit.

Jon Bon Jovi told CBS ‘It’s songs that weren’t finished, which are finished, a few new ones just like the one we released as being a single [‘We Don’t Run]’.


Bon Jovi’s record label Mercury announced the album saying it’s ‘a special album for fans in conjunction using the band’s international tour starting in September. ‘Burning Bridges’ features ten new songs including ‘Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning’.’

Bon Jovi slipped a whole new song titled ‘Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning’ over the weekend.

‘It’s kind of a hint about where we’re going musically, even so the new album, the important new album, will likely be early next season,’ Jon Bon Jovi told Scott Shannon.
